Provides a good summary of the Monarch program.  Through VC I became semi-obsessed with reading up on this subject.  It's just too bizarre to be believed yet there it is.

I always wonder if they've figured out how to replicate it over the broad spectrum.  Ya know?

I would guess they are replicating it, sans physical abuse.  So while they can't produce programmable alters via tv, they can mesmerize and insert code.
