Curious Case of Criminal Last Names

"I think that sounds and names carry vibrations within them & that linage & ancestral heritage carries a karma of sorts that repeats itself through future generations....[ but that doesn't mean a person can't rise above or sink below

their ancestral karma.."..by chryoprase..

I started the above thread on the DI forum 19 months ago and it has gone over 18 thousand views...

I stumbled upon the idea that the last names of serious murderers have a statistical probability

that their last name falls into 4 descriptions...
1/ dweller in a swamp,marsh,or wasteland.
2/dweller in a forest,grove of trees,or clearing in a wood.
3/dweller on barren or uncultivated land.
4/dweller in a deep valley or hollow.
If you click on the link and read the 1st two pages you will get the idea...

someone did a master's thesis on some notorious British family who had spent generations as petty criminals.  I can't remember the name, darn it, but it was interesting.

Also, I read somewhere that a disproportionate amount criminals have the first or middle name of "wayne" or "dwayne" or "dewayne."

If everything has vibrational energy, it would only make sense.

Hollywood, especially in the studio era {1930s through the 1950s} was constantly selling the idea that men and women could change from bad to good overnight....
I personally don't think it happens that often....especially in the case of sociopaths....sociopaths CAN'T change..
and they make up about 1 in every 20 people....5% of the population...

Regarding the name Wayne...it was a fairly common name BEFORE John Wayne became a star around 1940.
It peaked in popularity around 1970...and has been declining ever since...

Even a near death experience won't necessarily change a person...I knew a "bad" person who had a NDE and

it didn't change her....it was business as usual ....just saying...

Of course, John Wayne's real name was Marion Morrison. grin
I've always found it fascinating how many Hollywood stars changed their names, and actually became these new identities while wiping out their former personality.

Cary Grant - real name: Archibald Alexander Leach
Kirk Douglas - real name: Issur Danielovitch
Lauren Bacall - real name: Betty Joan Perske
Boris Karloff - real name: William Henry Pratt
Martin Sheen - real name: Ramon Estevez
Mickey Rooney - real name: Joe Yule Jr.
Alan Alda - real name: Alphonso d'Abruzzo

This is a bit off topic but Wyatt Earp lived to be 80 years old & was a consultant on western films in Hollywood up until 1929..when he passed away....

John Wayne knew him slightly and patterned his walk & speech after Earp....Although Wayne started working in films as a stunt man and extra  in 1927  when Earp was still alive; Wayne didn't become a star until about 1939 when he made Stagecoach.

Gunfighters of the old west were basically acrobats,,,,they had good hand- eye coordination...

and the ones who lived into their 40s were a bit  psychic,,in that they could "smell" trouble and "read"

the body language of  their enemies.......

I've heard that about Wyatt Earp. A lot of the myths and legends about him date from that time near the end of his life where he was running around Hollywood talking about the "good old days" with actors.

I always preferred Randolph Scott over John Wayne; he was actually a cowboy before he became a film star, and wasn't such a Nazi.

It appears that tons of Hollywood actors and actresses have changed their last names, first ones too. Many of them are Jewish and the ones that run the studios are Jewish also. Not sure how many jobs you would even receive if you were not Jewish out there in Hollywood (or part Jewish).

It's no great sin or conspiracy to change one's name....Would Bob Dylan have made it Big as Bob Zimmerman...? Barbara Stanwick was born Ruby Stevens...Veronica Lake's was born Constance Francis Marie Ockelman....

Ockelman is German...it means the man who looked after oxen...

Most of the superbig movie stars were not Jews....especially the women....strangely enough Swedish women
seemed to do well...Greta Garbo,Ingrid Bergman,Ann-Margret,Anita Eckberg,Bret Eckland...

Gloria Swanson was half Swede/half Italian...

Jews tend to be great songwriters.....Paul Simon,Dylan,Leonard Cohen,Carol King, and all the greats from

Broadway musicals era..etc....Lorenze Hart,Jerome Kerns,Irving Berlin.,George & Ira Gershwin, the Sherman Brothers,,who wrote most of the songs for the Disney films in the 1960s and 70s..

and the list of great Jewish comedians is long also....

the list is long. for Jewish writers also...Norman Mailer....,I'm drawing a blank here,,but they were from New York

and wrote novels in the 50s and 60s....J D Salinger comes to mind..,Philip Roth......

Some of my favorite creative people are Jewish - Rod Serling leaps to mind, for example. Also Isaac Asimov, Groucho Marx, John Garfield, Peter Sellers, Peter Falk, Kirk Douglas, Martin Balsam, Walter Matthau, Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner, Harvey Keitel, Martin Landau, Richard Dreyfuss, Jane Seymour, and too many musicians to name...

For the record,,I'm half Swede.& the rest is German, French,English,Irish,Czeck, and Manx...:<<<Isle of Mann

Marlowe- Brad Pitt will have the leading role in the film version of 'World War Z' by Max Brooks.  A GREAT book, btw, to anyone who  hasn't read it.

Catch his jibes at famous people- particularly his hilarious jibe at the (supposed) liason between Bill Mahr and Ann Coulter.  Ew.
