Re: The Last 26 days of your Life
I miss Matt Simmons too. He was one of the good ones.
and, if something big doesn't happen tomorrow, I say we all get together and go strangle Cliff.
Just sayin. LOL

I'd sure love someone to come up with something that isn't catastrophic for the planet to explain this one away.
snowflower, (re: Clif High's webbots down to 1% of data by June 2012).
"What possible reason for the disappearance of data, could there be, if not doom and gloom?"

My thought: Our world is going through an upgrade of vibrational frequencies, between now and end of 2012. When these frequencies reach a certain level, we will have to use an entirely different technology for communication. This is not doom and gloom. It has all been thought out by a group I call "the Watchers" and guardians of humanity. Just wait and see: Old technologies will die, and new ones will replace them.

A mysterious statement issued Feb. 18th:
"Another 'breakthrough' technology will be announced shortly that will affect the way radio waves are communicated around the globe." I think that would include "satellite" transmission, also. It's going to get very, very interesting, folks! Can't wait for end of March through June!
Think positive.

Has Clif said anything lately? Like, "INCOMING!" or something? Anything?

Well, I'll admit I kind of wondered.... I have a seminar in June I want to attend.
I keep thinking: What will we be doing in June? What will the world be like, about then?
It's a wild guess, even if some tough transitions knock us for a loop!! We're Survivors!
Anyway, by March 11th, Mars will be in Retrograde, and I figure I'll go off the deep end for awhile, so had better post all my positive viewpoints... NOW!!!
Lua- Indeed it is. The Ides of March are upon us. Or is it, The Ides of March is upon us?
Anyway.....here it/they are!
Hehe, yeah come July I will WISH something had happened in March ..7 parks in 7 days ..argh
Theres a reason they are called ABUSEment parks.
here is a map that shows you the blast radius of the megatonnage of your choice...& what you can expect..
Oh, Richard Heinberg! He's my idol. I think I've read every one of his books. Wonderful sweet man.
Here's a good video of him at home :)
Well, waking up to the news today and 32 people died last night in that big storm down south.
I havent seen how many tornado's touched down yet ..but there's alot ALOT of damage. Poor people
I wonder if they aren't keeping the death toll out of the news?
An entire town of 1, 900 people "wiped off the map"? I grew up in a town about that size, a little smaller actually. If it had been wiped off the map that would have been hundreds (not a couple dozen, as the news is saying) of homes gone.
Just figure 4 to a home of 1,900 people: that is almost 500 homes. That is a LOT of houses and people in them. And the entire business district gone? School was in session.
I think the death toll will be much more.
SF- That was a great video! Thanks for posting.
Looks like we got through the second of March without Iran/Israel blowing up. Literally.
Okay ..wow to that Nuke Map.
That actually makes me 'feel better' in a sad sort of way.
I had in my mind the idea that a nuke bomb would be soooo sooo much larger. I mean like huge. I was literally shocked to see the biggest one even, being so damn tiny.
From looking at that ..it's not the bombs we need to worry about ..but rather it's the nuclear power plants we should all be concerned with.
As to the death toll in the tornadoes, it's going to be a while before they know what's what. Lots of people missing and they are going; well, I was going to say they're going door to door, but there's no doors anymore. I'm not even sure how you take a head count if whole neighborhoods are gone. The roads have to be impassable and the search and rescue people have to be from another township nearby. Yikes.
The main news services can't even begin to get a grip on it, the storm system went thru a dozen states. About all they can do is send a helicopter over an area and film the destruction but they are having trouble figuring out what used to be there and so what's missing. There's weird stuff in the videos; a tractor trailer bent in half. A school bus thrown into a building and the engine of the bus crushed and diagonal to the rest of it, like it went end over end. People coming out of their safe room (a closet or bathroom, how does that even work??) and having their house gone around them, and the whole neighborhood too. Papers with addresses on them being found 200 miles from home.

I had the same reaction - if a Hiroshima-sized bomb went off in Queens, NY the immediate effects wouldn't even make it to New Jersey. However, isn't the real danger in a nuclear bomb blast not the initial blast but the fallout which can be blown for miles around? Watch the BBC movie Threads - Google video link below, it's also available in 12 parts on YT - one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen and I wonder how realistic it would be.
