Already LA's Mayor calling for a ban on assault weapons

Already people are crying out about the poor 'security' at the movie theater.

Already the theaters are now banning 'outfits".

I can see more of our 'rights' just floating down the river as this unfolds.

Which leads me to the 'reason' for this? A smart PHD candidate for Neuroscience ( forgive me if I am wrong I cant find the link again now) Only 24 years old and he LEGALLY obtains these weapons and does this?

A rash of these type of shootings within the past week---Toronto, Alabama---a little bit ironic if you ask me. Clearly, the gun control types will have a field day with all of this.And the powers that be will also be able to use it to their advantage as well.

There is no way someone can just walk into a movie theater past everyone with what he was wearing and carrying, without any problems. He would've had to have gotten in through unconventional methods, which means he would either have been scoping out the layout well in advance, or someone inside just let him in.

People's rights will continue to be eroded until they become virtual prisoners in their own bedrooms with no rights, unless and until they finally decide to take responsibility for their own security instead of allowing and depending on control-freaks with their storm-trooper minions to do it for them.

As for gun control, it is impossible. If people want guns bad enough, they can get them, even if they have to make their own.

I think we all thought of mk-ultra.  I suppose someone will ferret all this out in the near future.

This is not about gun control, this is about terrorizing the American people with continuing trauma.

From the Telegraph article:

"He told police that there were explosives inside his apartment. Officers discovered that the entire apartment had been booby-trapped with bombs — chemical and incendiary — ready to be detonated by trip wires. It is not clear whether Holmes’ scientific expertise played a part in his ability to make the devices."

So why would he tell the police that his apartment was booby-trapped rather than letting them find out the hard way?

Also, I guess everyone forgets about that bar shooting not a few days ago where 20 people were hit but luckily no one was killed. So I guess it's old news now compaired to this.

There have been no indications so far that Holmes had any run-ins with the law before Friday.

Holmes lived in an apartment in Aurora, and FBI agents and police who went there discovered it was booby-trapped when they used a camera at the end of a 12-foot pole to look inside.

just wanted to add, that the attack is supposed to have occurred just a few hours after an unreported (in our media) assassination attempt on Hilary Clinton while she was in Israel talking about the suicide bomber in Bulgaria.
Don't know if there is a connection or not but it sure seems peculiar.

Well, the lies have begun. 

"he bought a ticket and went in with everyone else.". WITH AN AK, a RIFLE, and two other guns, tear gas canisters and ammo?  Uh, no he didn't.

"he came through an exit door.". Uh, those doors are locked from the outside!  That's so people can't get in for free.

But someone was reporting online that a person got a phone call during the movie and went and propped an exit door open.

That sounds like a more probable scenario.   Which means....."

Yep, Net is full of reports that a witness said he was specially LET IN.

I don't know if it can possibly be connected but last night on Facebook there was a message going viral urging everyone to "boycott Hollywood" - more or less saying it epitomized and celebrated so much of what was wrong with the world, materialism, worship of talentless celebrities, etc.  From what I can make out this "boycott Hollywood" movement is taking off.  Hours later I heard news of this terrible shooting during the Batman movie .....made my strange mind wonder if there could possibly be some kind of connection.

Holmes, who grew up in San Diego, graduated from Westview High School in 2006. He was currently enrolled at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. He was in the process of withdrawing at the time of the shooting, university officials said. He was a doctoral student in the neuroscience program.
A college syllabus that lists Holmes as a student shows that he may have taken a class in which he studied topics as diverse as substance abuse, schizophrenia, depression and other disorders.

According to the document, he was supposed to have made a presentation in May about microRNA biomarkers.

When a reporter asked (Aurora Police Chief) Oates to confirm eyewitness reports of an unidentified "suspicious" person who allegedly opened the door to let Holmes into the theater — whose exit only opens from the inside — he would not comment on those reports, or describe how Holmes gained access to the theater.
